Scór na nÓg: Ádh mór to Brian Gallagher, Cormac Mc Ginley and Aidan Mc Gill, who are representing the club in the quiz section of this weekends county final. The Scór county final takes place in Glenswilly on Saturday evening, starting at 7pm.
We wish the lads the very best of luck, and hope that they will be coming home with county medals. The bus will depart Cashel at 5.15pm on Saturday evening, and Carrick at 5.30pm.
In football news, ádh mór also to Kieran, Kevin, and the minor panel, who will contest the county championship semi final this Sunday. Naomh Colmcille of Newtowncunningham will provide the opposition, and we were awaiting confirmation of the venue and time when we went to press. We are delighted to announce that the final sum collected in the recent Temple Street Charity Cycle was €15,935.75. Very well done to each and every person who got involved, cycled, helped out, donated money, and who made the event such a success. We were blown away with the response. We are in the process of organising a cheque presentation to Temple Street, and will have the pictures in the papers after. Go raibh míle míle maith agaibh.
Date for the diaries: the annual club dinner dance will take place on Friday, January 4th, 2013, in The Blue Haven Hotel. Further details to follow in the coming weeks.
