GARDAI have quizzed more people in their investigation into the death of Erin Gallagher, the 13-year-old Ballybofey girl who took her own life nine days ago.
The teenage bullying victim had also suffered a number of sexual assaults 18 months ago, the Irish Mail on Sunday reported her mother Lorraine as saying.
Gardai had investigated that incident and action was taken.
The Irish Sun also reported on Sunday that Gardai have spoken to two young adults – aged 17 and 20 – about allegations that they had also bullied Erin.
Lorraine Gallagher told both newspapers that she wanted Erin to be the last victim of bullying – both physical and online.
She said Gardai had retrieved a suicide note from her home but she had not yet seen it.
Donegal Mayor Frank McBrearty has appealed for calm in the Twin Towns to allow the authorities to investigate a widening number of allegations.
