Gardai last night carried out more informal interviews with four teenagers in connection with the death of teenager Erin Gallagher.
Donegal Daily understands that a number of girls were interviewed just a day after the tragic 13 year old was laid to rest after taking her own life last weekend.
Gardai are remaining tight-lipped about the interviews.
However sources say the interviews are being used to build-up a profile of the events which led to the death of the Finn Valley College student.
Two teens were interviewed on Tuesday last with their parents as fears grow of reprisals for Erin’s death.
A number of comments have been left on social media websites both before and after Erin’s death.
Gardai have confiscated Erin’s mobile phone following her death.
Her mum Lorraine revaled that she had read a number of comments on the phone which she claimed were of a bullying nature.
The teens who presented themselves voluntarily by Gardai in recent days have been questioned about both comments on websites and also texts on Erin’s phone.
Gardai are endeavoring to keep on top of what is a potentially hostile situation in the Twin Towns of Ballybofey and Stranorlar where Erin lived.
