Senior Football: Of the two sides, it was Buncrana who started with a spring in their step. Ryan Bradley was involved in all that was good about Buncrana, and a two point lead could easily have been four or five. But those wides were a precursor of what was to come, with six in the first half alone. Termon began to get a foothold in the game and crucially edged ahead just before half time. Christy Conaghan scored with a free off the ground, and Paddy McDaid added another quickfire point to give them a two point advantage going into the break.
Buncrana were then hit with a 10 minute blitz just after the interval, Conaghan and Martin Sweeney helping to take the game away from Buncrana. The wides continued to mount up, and with just one point in the second half Buncrana were always up against it. FT: Termon 0-9 Buncrana 0-4
