The 25-year-old victim was rushed to Sligo General Hospital last night after the incident which took place on Ross Road.
He was stabbed in the back and shoulder but he is expected to make a full recovery.
A Garda spokesman said: “Three men aged 19, 22 and 56 have been arrested and a file is being prepared for the DPP.”
