Naomh Columba 23.10.2012
Hard luck to both our seniors and reserves, who were defeated by Termon on Saturday evening last. This weekend sees our reserves contest the Intermediate Championship semi-final. The game is set for Saturday evening, October 27th, at 6.30pm in Mc Cumhaill Park. Aodh Rua provide the opposition, and we wish our lads the very best of luck. In overseas news this week, Cormac O’Garas Dunedin Connollys were defeated in the Scottish Championship Final after a late goal from Tír Chonaill Harps. There is also a home connection to the new champions however, with both Barry Doherty and Michael Curran involved in the team. We congratulate the lads on their achievement, and no doubt Connollys will be back again next year, this having been their 12th consecutive final. Tosóidh an comórtas ag 7.30 trathnóna, agus beidh an bus ag fágáil ón Chaiseal ag 5.05in & ón Charraig ag 5.15in.
