DONEGAL have followed up the All-Ireland success – by winning the All-Scotland Championship.
The Tir Chonaill Harps, based in Glasgow, lifted the title for the first time in 12 years.
And they beat Dunedin Connollys of Edinburgh – who were going for a 7th title in a row.
The final score was 5-07 to 3-11, a two point victory, in Lochinch.
Glenswilly’s Daniel Gallagher, Cloughaneely’s Paddy Brady and Donegal Town man Donagh McBrearty starred for Tir Chonaill Harps which also has players from the rest of Ireland.
Club chairman Maurice Friel said: “It is a fantastic day for the club. Connollys have won the last six titles so we knew it would be tough.
“But we won out in the end and we’re all so proud of the players.”
The victory completes a unique treble as last week the London Tir Chonaill club won the London title.
