Senior Men
Na Rossa 0-12 Milford 2-8
The boys wrapped up their league campaign with a fine win in Na Rossa last Saturday evening. Na Rossa is never an easy place to go and Milford were full value for their win despite another depleted squad. Milford went in two points up at half time, despite playing against the breeze, thanks to two goals from Cathal McGettigan. Milford defended well throughout the game and never really looked like losing and despite a flurry of points for Na Rossa midway through the second the boys always had them at arms reach. The players and management would like to thank the support they have received throughout the year, and the players would like to express their gratitude to the hard working management team of Nigel Black, SP Barrett, Aodh McCormack, Conall McFadden, Patrick McBride and Mickey McGlynn for their sterling work throughout the year
Senior Ladies
The senior ladies play the quarter final of the Ulster Junior Championship on Saturday against Antrim champions St. Josephs, Glenavey. Throw in at Moyle View Park is at 3pm. We would urge all club members to get down and support the girls as with the match being at home it is a great oppurtunity for the girls to progress and a good crowd there to cheer them on could make all the difference.
Under 10’s
There is no training for the under 10’s this Friday. The semi-finals and final of the parish league will take place at 5pm on Sunday. Training will recommence every Friday after that.
Under 8’s
The under 8’s will finish up their training on Friday 19th October. Their annual outing will take place on Saturday 20th October.
