Eddie McCarron from Letterkenny Co Donegal has won â'¬25,900 which includes a holiday to Thailand on last Saturday‚s (6th October 2012) National Lottery Winning Streak TV game show held in RTE. Eddie was surrounded by family and friends as he brought the luck of Donegal with him to Dublin.
As well as scooping the cash, Eddie also won a holiday to Thailand worth €5,000.
Eddie told host Marty Whelan that he was hoping to hotfoot it back to Letterkenny to make last orders at his favourite watering hole!
When pressed on whether or not he would be buying a round for the bar, Eddie replied “No problem at all.”
Eddie revealed he was only sorry that his partner could not make to appear on the TV show as she was gone back to Lithuania to visit her family.
Eddie also revealed he won €4,500.
And with that there’s only one thing left to say ……mine’s a pint Eddie!
