Christy Connaghan with a final tally of 1–5 and Marty Sweeney who finished with 0–6 helped Termon to a ten point margin over an under strength Urris at the Burn Road.
Termon who had big performances from John Mc Cafferty and James Gallagher in the first half were rocked just before the interval when a Long ball from Shaun Mc Daid who wore the number three shirt for Urris but played an attacking role delivered an inch perfect pass for Dean Kelly to fist past Michael Boyle in the Termon goal to leave HT Termon 0–9 Urris 1–2
Termon responded after the break with a Marty Sweeney point before Conor Bradley clawed back a goal for Urris following good inter passing . Man of the match Ollie Doherty had the goal of the game for Termon. Shaun o Donnell Termon picked up a wayward Urris pass on the midway line. As O Donnell made slow but steady progress towards John Noone.s goal he found an unmarked Ollie Doherty who placed the ball in Noones top right hand corner. From then onwards it was damage limitation for Urris
