HUGE TURN-OUT FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS CROSS COUNTRY AT FINN VALLEY AC

Invitation Secondary schools cross country Finn Valley A C Centre 2012

Day 2 of the annual schools cross country at the Finn Valley club and on this occasion 27 schools from the general area checked in . The outcome indicates a wide spread of individual and team honours but the continuous  message is just have a go and some 600 plus children did just that . When you consider the attendance over the 2 days the primary schools in action the previous day ,it has to be encouraging for the members of the local club .

Amongst the team winners  Colaiste Ailigh,Scoil Mhuire Buncrana,Thornhill College  Derry,St Columbas,Stranorlar; St Eunans,Letterkenny;Sacred Heart ,Omagh;Sligo Grammar;

27 schools were represented and given the good day that was in it to coin a phrase it was a very positive event .
