GAA bosses have already drawn up a contingency plan in case Donegal and Mayo draw in this year’s All-Ireland Football Final – just like Kilkenny and Galway in the hurling.
In the event of a draw, any replay between Donegal and Mayo will take place on Saturday October 6th rather than the following day.
It’s to avoid further disruption to the Ladies football final between Cork and Kerry which has already been moved back a week to Sunday October 7th due to the All Ireland hurling final replay.
Donegal and Mayo meet each other on Sunday week, September 23rd.
If you’re going along to the hurling replay you won’t have to fork out as much as you would have for the draw.
The replay between Kilkenny and Galway on Sunday 30th September sees top prices slashed from 80 to 50 euro while if you wanna stand on the Hill it will set you back 25 as opposed to 40 euro.
