After a sad experience in Bundoran G C last week, Noel Fisher found his form again to win the McElhinney cup in style with an amazing 45 pts last Sunday. His scoring was all the more impressive when the nearest competitor in second place with 37 pts was Denis Friel, and after that 3rd place was 34 pts, all evidence of the tough and testing conditions on the day. Noel will be hoping to carry the run of form through to this Saturday when club president Gerry McGivern will host his big day, the last of the ‘majors’ of 2012 at Otway, tee-off times as follows;
