And contrary to claims elsewhere Met Eireann says Donegal is having a much better summer than southern counties – and it says so!
There have been claims that poor forecasting has hit the number of tourists coming to Donegal this summer.
But does anyone really come to Donegal for the sunshine?
Well, with every single foreign holiday sold out from now until the end of the month, those of us still here might as well enjoy the sun while it lasts.
And Sunday isn’t looking too bad either.
