MAN ARRESTED AFTER CAR STRIKES TWO WALKERS

Two men were hospitalised after they were struck by a car in the Portnoo area.

A man has been arrested and charged after the incident in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The incident happened at 3am, when the car mounted a ditch, hitting the two men.

Both men had minor injuries. One was discharged yesterday morning, the other earlier today.
