UNDER 8 Coaching will take place on Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm and on Saturday from 10am to 11am. The under 12s training is Monday and Wednesday next week at 7. Loads of information and pictures on the Naomh Mhuire Bord na nOg facebook page – make sure to check it out.
The seniors and reserves are scheduled out in Championship with an away fixture to Urris on Saturday evening with Reserves 6pm and Seniors at 7:30pm.
Peil na mBan – u16s travelled to Glenties on Thursday with a much depleted team due to 4 of the squad having a family wedding with 15 players travelling and played a 15 a-side game and put on a tremendous performance to take home the points – Glenties 3-08 Naomh Mhuire 6-07. Next game for u16s is a home match v Dungloe on 14th Aug. The 11 girls on the Dev. Squad are doing very well, we are now into the 4th week of an 8 weeks training course. U13 girls start on Wed 15th August with a home game v Gaoth Dobhair. Training for u16, minor and senior ladies is Tues and Thurs at 8pm in The Banks.
Naomh Mhuire GAA Club is hosting a BIG SPORTS AND FUN DAY on Sunday August 19th at the Banks. The day will act as a fundraiser as well as a great day for all children and Adults. A full day of activities with races, football, food stalls, arts and crafts, 5k race, gourmet burgers, strong man and woman, long kick, golf, etc. With development due to start shortly on improved facilities including additional dressing rooms, etc all support is greatly appreciated and this should be a great family day for all ages.
A course in child protection and good practise in the GAA will be held in the clubhouse. This course covers all from Adult to u/age mentors in every aspect of their roles within the club.
