GAA: DONEGAL LADIES GAA NOTES BY PADDY COLL:
Sunday was a great day for all supporters, male and female ,and there were a lot of the ladies squad and management in attendance showing their support for the sport as well as the team.
I was privleged to talk and have a bit of banter with them all.
It is back to Championship for the female fraternity in the week ahead
and in the coming weeks. Glefin and Convoy lock swords on Wednesday night in Glenfin.
Termon make the long journey to Ballyshannon on Sunday Morning at noon to play in the Senior Championship vs Aodh Ruadh while at the same time their second string meet Buncrana in the Junior championship second leg at home.
It seems a bizarre state of the fixtures that supporters and players from Termon
will have to make such a decision.
There should be a bit of give and take as this does nothing for the enhancement of the ladies game.
You folks on the fixtures make decisions that are sensible and change
one game so justice and common sense prevail.

Donegal Play Tyrone In The Under 16 Ladies Final On Saturday 28th July at a venue yet to be agreed.
