And it’s creating its own waves on Lough Swilly these past few days.
Paddleboarding is the favourite pastime of people like Matthew McConaughey, Ben Harper, Cindy Crawford., Rihanna, Kate Hudson and Eva Longoria.
And it seems of dozens of people here in Co Donegal are loving it too!
The Adventure One Surf School has been pulling in the crowds at Ratthmullan beach – a perfect location for paddleboarding.
Lessons are every hour from 12 noon every day of the week.
