Derry City Reserves increased their lead at the top of the Ulster Senior League to 6 points after Sunday’s results. City’s game was reversed to St.Patrick Park in Drumkeen. With the game 1-1 at half time, Derry eventually ran out 7-4 winners.
Letterkenny Rovers defeated second placed Cockhill Celtic by 1 goal to 0- former Finn Harps striker Davitt Walsh with the goal with 8 minutes remaining in.
The other two games played on Sunday ended in draws. Kildrum Tigers and Fanad United drew 1-1 in St Johnston and Swilly Rovers and Buncranna Hearts played out a 2-2 draw.
In the DPD USL Division One, Bonagee United are the early leaders after four rounds of games. At the weekend Swilly Rovers defeated Letterkenny Rovers by 3 goals to 2 and Drumkeen United collected all three points in a 4-2 win over Kildrum Tigers.
