Deputy Charlie McConalogue has been appointed as Fianna Fail’s front bench spokesperson on education.
The move was announced last night by Fianna Fail leader Micheal Martin.
The Inishowen TD was formerly the opposition spokesman on children’s affairs.
The elevation will be seen as giving McConalogue a more challenging role.
