Donegal manager Jim McGuinness is to make an impassioned plea to the county committee tonight to suspend the first round of county championship games.
There are eight games featuring some of Donegal’s biggest clubs down for decision this weekend.
But McGuinness is to ask for the games to be suspended to allow his county stars to be at their freshest for the Ulster Final against Down in three weeks time.
