Royal Flush Draw results for the weekend of 24/06/2012 were 4, 7, 10 & 22. There was no winner, consolation prizes went to Anne Kennedy, Brian McNern, Castleview & Roy Adair. Next week’s jackpot now stands at a massive €4900. The club annual Cul Camp, now sponsored by Kelloggs, takes place from the 2nd to 6th of July. Registration can be done online on their website or on the first day of the camp. Prices this year start at €55, and discounts apply for a second child (€45), and a third & forth and so on (€40). The club are trying to put forward the idea of a day allocated for SDC Heart scans to take place in the clubhouse. It would be open to all club members and would cost in the region of €40 to €60. It will be put towards all adult players in the meantime but it any person from the parish is interested please do not hesitate to contact any club executive. The clubs clothes bank is now situated in the grounds of the club and is now very easily accessed as it has benn built into the the outer fencing of the grounds on the roadside. There was no adult football over the weekend but next week sees the seniors play twice, Friday and Sunday, against Robert Emmets and Naomh Colmcille respectively, both games being away from home. Emmets have no reserve team so the reserves have one game on the Sunday. Our U14 side sadly lost out to Killybegs in the divisional final on Wednesday last, after a poor first half performance, they fought back brilliantly to change a 21 point deficit to 4 points but just ran out out of time. Final score was 4-14 to 4-8. Wednesday night sees the team play Naomh Brid in the first round of the Championship.
