The U21 County Hurling team were beat in the Ulster U21 Hurling Championship Shield by Tyrone. Level at half-time Donegal tired visibly in the second half. However it is a credit to all the teams especially those who represented the team during their examinations.
The U14 A Hurling Championship saw Buncrana beat Aodh Ruadh. Aodh Ruadh battled through and despite a good finish were unable to catch the Buncrana team who were deserved winners. Good luck to both teams who represent the county in the All-Ireland Feile. Burt beat MacCumhaills in the U14 B Hurling Championship. Well done to both teams on reaching the final.
Don’t forget the open invite for Donegal Hurlers to the puck fada in Ulster which will take place on Divis Mountain on Thursday 21st June, commencing at 7.00pm. For more information contact Jimmy Darragh at jimmy.darragh.ulster@gaa.ie
