Approximately €600,000 has been approved for the support of childcare facilities in Donegal.
Minister for Children, Deputy Frances Fitzgerald announced that approximatley €200,000 was being allocated to playgroups in Donegal South-West, while €400,000 would go to the North-East of the County.
The funding has been welcomed by Senator Jimmy Harte and Councillor Jimmy Kavanagh.
