The Most Holy Trinity
CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION
Next Sunday 10th June, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Body and Blood of Christ. We acknowledge our belief in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Our EVENING OF PRAYER will begin at 4.30 pm when we will have two hours of led Eucharistic Adoration with prayer, reflection and singing. At 6.30 pm we will have our scheduled Mass and immediately afterwards we will walk with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament over lower Ard O’Donnell onto the High Road and down Main Street. We will end with Benediction at Market Square. Feel free to join with us at any point in this day of devotion to Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament.

‘TURAS’ AT GARTAN
Everyone is invited to do the ‘Turas’ for the Feast Day of St. Columba (9th June). The ‘Turas’ consists of prayers around seven different locations at the old Church and Graveyard at Gartan. The ‘Turas’ can be made at any time, any day, but it is lovely to do it on the Feast Day of the Saint. On Saturday 9th June, Fr. Michael McKeever will lead the ‘Turas’ starting at 2.30 pm. After the prayers are finished the group will walk/process to St. Colmcille’s Church, Glendowan for Benediction. Also on Saturday 9th, Fr. Eamonn Kelly will lead the ‘Turas’ starting at 3.30 pm. There will be no walk after this ‘Turas’.
This weekend, we REMEMBER AND PRAY especially for all our young people who will begin the Junior and Leaving Cert Examinations in the coming week. Lord, guide them as they study.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, you will that all people go through you to the eternal joy of heaven. Help us to take our wounded and broken hearts to you. Show us how to rely on you and your victory over sin and death. We place before you our troubles, our cares and our sorrows. We give to you our families. Guide and direct us. Bless our work and activities and help us always to do everything for your greater glory. In your Sacred Heart, Lord Jesus, we place our needs, our past and our future. Help us to repent of all past sins and help us to avoid sin in the future. Reconcile each one and the whole world to God through your most Sacred Heart.
Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in you. Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in you. Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in you.
