TWO goals from Derry’s Terence O’Brien was the difference in the sides as Donegal exited the Minor Championship on Sunday.
O’Brien struck in the second minute when Donegal keeper Daniel Mullarkey was dispossessed and the hosts went on to take a five point half-time lead, 1-06 to 0-04.
O’Brien struck hit his second eight minutes into the second half to end the game as a contest.
McHugh pulled back a penalty goal for Donegal but it was too late to close the gap.
