DONEGAL is again going to escape the worst of the weather set to hit Ireland this week, says Met Eireann.
We may get the odd shower here and there but a Met Eireann spokeswoman told donegaldaily.com that the North West looks like the best place to be this week.
It will be between 10c and 14c today, Monday, though it will feel cooler in the wind.
Tonight will also be mainly dry in the north and west and while it will be dry tomorrow, it will be mainly cloudy and dry again.
It will be mild and dry again on Wednesday and Thursday with Donegal getting the best of the sunshine and temperatures of 17C, with Friday looking the same.
“The best weather in Ireland this week will be in the northwest,” said the spokeswoman.
Current indications are that next weekend will see temperatures gradually falling back, with a return to cool, very showery weather, the most likely outcome.
