Membership for the forthcoming season can be paid as of now, €20 – General Membership, €50 – Senior/Reserve, €30 – Student/Unemployed, €20 – Minior, €15 – U16’s to U10’s and €50 – Family Membership. The 25 card drive continues every Thursday night in Mary Murrin’s Bar, and many thanks to all who continue to come along to play. It only costs €5 to play for the night. Club Donegal is one again on offer this year and its especially beneficial to those who attend league and championship games throughout the county, as it gains free access to all fixtures. The cost for the year as set by the county board is €200 but the club are offering it to general members for €100, the same price as previous years. which includes membership, for playing members it will cost €130, which will include their membership also. The music lessons continue on Monday and Tuesday evenings in the Clubhouse. Lessons can be individual or group. A date has been set for the sponsored walk and will take place on April 9th going from Mary Murrin’s Bar to the clubhouse. If you would like to support the Club in this way we would certainly appreciate it. Names for the walk can be given to John Boyle, Margaret Mc Nicolas or Marian Murrin and sponsorship cards will be available. Both teams were in action over the weekend in the season opener at home to Naomh Padraig Leifear. The Reserve side lost out on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-9 against a strong Lifford side. Scorers for the team were Sean Furey (1-2), Liam Kennedy (0-3), Adrian Nesbitt, Donal Kelly & Ronan Murrin (0-1). The Senior’s had more luck than the reserves and came away with a point after a tightly fought affair with Lifford. The final score was Naomh Ultan 4-07, Naomh Padraig Leifear 2-13. Scorers for Naomh Ultan were Aiden Duddy (2-0), Alan Lyons (1-2), Colin McNicholas (1-1), Cian Kennedy & Dermot Gallier (0-2).
