DDTV: VIDEO OF THE DAY DONEGAL CAMPAIGNERS TOOK THEIR PROTEST TO DUBLIN

DDTV VIDEO: They started out as a handful of protestors way back on March 9th at Malin Head.

Donegaldaily.com was there as Joe Murphy and his fellow protestors began their 280-mile walk to Dublin

And on Saturday they were joined by up to 10,000 others as they completed their walk to the Fine Gael Ard Fheis, angry at household, water and septic tank taxes.

Meanwhile Joe Higgins TD and economist Brian O’Boyle will address a meeting organized by the United Left Alliance in Co Donegal this week.

The topic of the meeting will be the ‘The fight against austerity’. Up for discussion will be the household tax, school cut-backs, septic tank charges and hospital closures.

The meeting is being held in the Station House Hotel on Tue 3rd of April and begins at 8pm.
