An exercise drill involving many of Donegal’s emergency service was declared a success yesterday.
The multi-agency Search and Rescue (SAR) took place around the Dunree area.
The Sligo Coastguard helicopter dropped members of Donegal Mountain Rescue Team and other agency members onto the Urris Hills.
Other searches took place along the coastline.
The RNLI carried out sea search and rescue and the operation was later declared a success.
