SWILLY ROVERS U-16S THROUGH TO FAI CUP QUARTER-FINAL

DONEGAL side Swilly Rovers are the toast of underage soccer in the county tonight after making it through to the FAI U16 National Cup.

Rovers beat Arklow 2-1 today to secure their place in the next round.

Darragh Black’s first half strike gave the home-side a half time lead and Dylan Hegarty double the score in the second half.

The Co Wicklow side did pull a goal back but the Ramelton lads held on through some great defending to progress to the next round.
