Almost €2.5 million has just been allocated under Housing Adaptation Grant Schemes for Older People and People with a Disability for Donegal.
The allocation has been welcomed by Labour party Senator Jimmy Harte.
” I have been in contact with Minister Jan O Sullivan and she has informed me today of the allocations for the county. I’m hopeful that this money will be welcomed by those who require special assistance. ”
A total of €1,958,517 will come from the exchequer while a further €489,629 will come from the local authority making a total of €2,448,116.
