The annual Bord na nOg presentations will take place on Sunday 27th January at 4pm in the clubhouse at the Banks. This is an evening where we acknowledge the achievements and efforts of our underage players over the past year from under 8s to minor level. The presentations will be conducted by a member of the Donegal senior football team as well as members of CLG Naomh Mhuire senior team. We look forward to welcoming a large crowd to show support and appreciation for our underage players, the future of the club.
There will be a Bord na nOg meeting in the clubhouse from 8pm – 9pm on Friday evening. All coaches are asked to attend.
A new Naomh Mhuire Bord na nOg facebook page has been created and will be used to provide information to the underage teams and coaches. Please check it out.
The under 8s and under 10s resume training this Saturday in the Sportshall at the RCS. Training will be outdoors if the weather is good enough so come prepared for indoor/outdoor session. The under 8s will train from 11am – 12pm with the under 10s training from 12pm – 1pm. Under 8s training is for children born in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Under 10 training is for children born in 2002 and 2003.
Under 12 training continues every Tuesday at the RCS from 7pm – 8pm. This is for children born in 2000 and 2001.
The Club’s Annual Dinner Dance took place on last in Caisleain Oir, Annagry. Congratulations to all the award winners in a great year for the club on so many levels. For the first time a Hall of fame was introduced this year and it would be hard to argue that the first two into the Hall of Fame – Tony Doherty and Seamus Rodgers – true legends. Well done to Donald Sharkey on receiving Clubperson of the Year. Player awards were as follows: Senior Player of Year – Padraig McCafferty, Young Senior Player – Adi O’Gara, Reserve Player of Year – BP Boyle and Young Reserve Player of Year – Chris Devlin. Ladies Player of Year – Mide Ni Bhaoill and Young Ladies Player – Jade O’Donnell.

Peil na mBan indoor Training starts for u14/u16 and ladies in Ashlainn Rann na Feirste started on Wed 25th at 7.30 to 8.30 and each week. New season ahead so everyone need to get training and be ready for the challenges ahead.
The Healthy Living program is going very well. Every Wednesday at 7pm at the Mullaghderg Banks.
Lotto details for week 18th January. Jackpot 860 euro. No jackpot winner. There were three match 3 winners – Phil Ward – Beal na Cruite, Donnacha O’Duibheannaigh – Rann na Feirste agus Caiomhe Boyle – Mullach Dearg. Numbers were 611-18-21.
