A KILLYBEGS man had a lucky escape today after his house went on fire.
Forensics officers are today trying to establish the cause of the blaze at the home on the Conlin Road in the town.
Three fire tenders attended the scene after the alarm was raised shortly after 1am.
A neighbour said: “The house is damaged but thankfully no-one was hurt.”
Gardai have preserved the scene and are “carrying out routine enquiries” into the cause of the blaze.
