A plan to get a swimming pool for the Portnoo area is now one step closer to its goal.
It follows the confirmation that design teams have been asked to tender for the project in a number of phases, the initial ones including the building design and planning.
The Dolmen Centre is pleased to announce the milestone in its quest for the facility on it’s site at Kilclooney, Portnoo.
“The Dolmen Centre looks forward to this exciting phase in its development, and to the long term goal of a Public Swimming Pool for the region” said a spokesman.
A spokesman said they would like to acknowledge they help we received from Donegal County Council, which included the advertising of the project and the shortlisting of a number of Design Teams.
