The 25-year-old is back in Co Donegal to celebrate the New Year with mum Mary, dad Gerry and Letterkenny-based boyfriend Declan Sweeney.
Declan has just been over to London to see the love of his life dancing as Saoirse in the show at the Apollo Theatre.
The couple are looking forward to spending the holiday together before Sarah resumes her tour in Lord Of The Dance, which will take her all over the UK and to Germany and Austria from now until next June.
Then she and the troupe are off to Taiwan where the locals can’t wait to see the Irish dance routines on the stage there.
“And, of course, I am looking forward to our return to Belfast in February,” says Sarah.
“That’s where my career began at Seaneen and Gavin Doherty’s Dancing School, so the city is special to me.
“I was in Lord Of The Dance two and a half years ago at the Waterfront so it is nice to be returning to the arena where I used to dance in competitions.”
Sarah was dazzled by the majesty of Lord Of The Dance when she first saw a performance with Flatley as the star at The Point in Dublin 16 years ago.
“I made up my mind then that one day I would be a dancer, too, and would appear in the show,” she said.
“Now I have been touring with Lord Of The Dance for more than four years and I love it more every day.
“And when Michael drops in at rehearsals to see how we are doing and to give us some tips there is a great buzz around. He is a marvellous performer and a unique character.”
Lord Of The Dance is on at the Waterfront from February 21-26 and tickets are now on sale at the box office, tel: 048 9033 4455.
