HOLLYWOOD actress Sarah Jessica Parker has said that she’d love to move to Donegal permanently and learn how to knit – but she admits such a move is unlikely.
The star, her husband Matthew Brodekrick, son James, 8, and two-year-old twins daughters Tabitha and Marion are regular visitors to their holiday home in Kilcar.
“Ireland has always been a great getaway,” she said in an interview.
“I would love to knit but I am not a good knitter, that’s why I need to learn. I’m decent but I’m not great and I don’t get to do it very much.
“I don’t know if it is just a metaphor for doing something less insane. It’s not specific to knitting.
“There’s a whole world out there and it’s an interesting, exciting world and I’m sure there’s a lot of satisfaction to be found so one day I will choose to do something different, something else if it’s the right thing for the family.”
