Temperatures have dropped below zero again.
Donegal County Council have spent all evening gritting major routes, but with scattered showers washing away grit, it is still leaving dangerous conditions.

The roads around all the major towns are also treacherous with reports of black ice in Letterkenny, Moville, Carndonagh, Convoy, Lifford, Twin Towns, Ballyshannon, Donegal Town, Glenties, Gaoth Dobhair and Ardara badly affected. Many roads will be worse by dawn, so please be careful out there. Snow is predicted to fall on higher ground.
Met Eireann has issued an Ice Warning and says the worst of the frost is affecting inland areas. The BBC in the North has also issued a similar warning.
The forecaster is also predicting that milder weather will arrive in Donegal by the end of the weekend.
Met Eireann has repeated its prediction that Christmas Day will see temperatures of around 10C.
Meanwhile ESB workers from Letterkenny have been drafted into Co Derry to help repair broken power lines in the Sperrins.
Several pylons lost electricity cables due to heavy snow earlier this week.
