AXED county star Kevin Cassidy has used Twitter to hit back at team-mates who backed manager Jim McGuinness in the row over a controversial book.
The Gaoth Dobhair player was axed last month after McGuinness said his contribution to a “behind the scenes” book on the county’s Ulster Championship-winning season to have breached a confidentiality agreement.
Yesterday captain Michael Murphy told reporters that the whole panel agreed that the wing-back’s actions had been “out of line”.
But Cassidy has hit back with a Tweet, sending a message appears to hit out at his former team-mates.
“In life the opinions you express should be you’re [sic] own and you shouldn’t be influenced by others,” he said on Twitter.
