Letterkenny lad Ryan McConnell has played several games for the English side in Brazil at the the U-17 Future Championship.
The boy from from Old Town played in three games for United in the tournament this week.
Teenagers from some of the world’s top clubs are playing there.
The former Letterkenny Rovers star signed for United in October when he turned 16 last October.
Now 17 years-old, the former Glencar Schoolboys defender has been offered a three-year deal with the club with senior team boss Alex Ferguson being kept up to date on his progress.
