DONEGAL has been placed on black ice alert this morning – again!
And it’s going to be the same for at least four more days – before milder weather comes and scuppers chances of a white Christmas.

However hundreds of minor roads are not gritted, making driving conditions hazardous.
Met Eireann is also predicting more wintry showers over higher ground over the weekend.
Our readers have told us of poor road conditions in and around Letterkenny, between Moville and Carndonagh, on the Barnesmore Gap, around Raphoe and other east Donegal villages, Dunlewey, Glenties, Donegal Town and Ballyshannon.
Gardai want drivers to slow down.
