DONEGAL’S wacky weather continues.
After 20 metre giant waves off the Donegal coast yesterday, the county was then battered by a storm which led to power failures and flooding on the roads.
The Letterkenny dual carriageway was flooded again with flooding in many other areas.
And overnight there was snow in several areas in the south and east of the county.
This morning there is once again a warning about ice on roads throughout the county, with AA Ireland and Gardai urging “extreme caution.”
The rest of the week is set to be bitterly cold with the BBC forecasting snow again for Thursday and Friday, but not in the quantities Donegal got last year.
Thanks to all of you who sent in information on power cuts and flooded roads. If you experience any difficulties today, email us to info@donegaldaily.com and we’ll let others know.
