The Club AGM took place last Friday evening December 9th in the Clubhouse. There was a good attendance and some excellent debate on the night. Our club in moving forward and we are very fortunate that there is many committed people helping activities both on and off the field. A new committee was elected on the night but a special mention must go to Donal Sharkey who has been Secretary for 15 years with the club and stood down to help with the new Development committee. New committee will be listed next week.
U12 Training continues in the Dungloe gym on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 8pm.

Peil na mBan Noamh Mhuire iochtar na rosann reconvened AGM takes places in the club house on Thursday 29th December starting at 7 o’clock. The girls had a very successful year last year but it was disappointing that there was not sufficient support to form a committee at the last scheduled AGM. All parents and those interested in ladies football is requested to come along if there is going to be ladies football in the club next year.
The 24 dancers have been selected for the forthcoming Jigs n Reels. Big Launch Night this Friday night December 16th in the Clubhouse at 8pm. Please come along and support the dancers as they are paired off and introduced. Jigs n Reels promises to be a great night in 2012 and a major fundraiser for Naomh Mhuire GAA Club as the club prepares for two major projects as well as continuing its great work at all age groups in the Community.
Peil na mBan fundraiser – walk and cross country run on Boxing day 26th Dec. Starts 1pm at the clubhouse going to The Ballymanus Monument. Walkers will take the road route and runners will take a specially designed Cross Country route. Entry will be taken at the Clubhouse from 12 o’clock onwards. Adults €5, Family rate €10.
The club are hosting “A Night at the Races” in Sharkeys Lounge Annagry on the 27th December starting at 9pm. Horses are now on sale and can be obtained from club committee members or players for 20 euro.
On Wednesday January 4th, as part of a much requested Healthy eating and weight loss project the club are organising a New Year kick start to healthy living. This is aimed at both ladies and gents who feel that they want to loose weight and need the encouragement of a group to push on and shed the pounds. There will be a registration (cost €10) and weigh in in the Clubhouse in Mulladerg. More details to come.

A new and innovative music project in aid of Donegal Hospice Homecare. The CD Le Cuidiú Dé is a compilation of 14 new songs in Irish with lyrics by Eileen Ní Bhaoill. It is the culmination of the untiring work of Eileen Ní Bhaoill and Maighread Hanlon. CDs on sale locally for worthy cause.
