TWO young brothers who have their own business have been inundated with offers of help after being turned down for a Government grant – thanks to donegaldaily.com!
Rónán McGarvey, 14, and his 11-year-old brother Conor McGarvey had told us how they couldn’t get any capital towards their booming Donegal Pens business because they are too young!
Then RTE’s Morning Ireland followed up our story – and a number of businesses stepped in to help them out.
One man has offered them a free workshop whilst retailers offered to stock their pens, made from wood from native Irish trees!
“We are over the moon,” said Rónán today. “Thanks to donegaldaily.com highlighting this, the story went national and RTE picked up on it. We are very grateful for all the offers.”
Since the pens started to be advertised on donegaldaily.com, the boys have had enquiries from around the world from customers looking for that perfect Christmas gift!
