The Club AGM takes place this Friday evening December 9th in the Clubhouse at 7pm. The nominations for the election of officers can be made on the night. Motions for discussion and voting upon must be with the Club Runaí no later than 6pm on Wednesday 7th and may be hand delivered or emailed to – sharkey.donal@yahoo.ie. A good attendance is required so as to ensure the continued work of the club. All welcome.
Under 8 and under 10 training has finished up for this year and will resume again in the new year.
U12 Training continues in the Dungloe gym on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 8pm.

Many thanks to the many who recently helped out in so many ways at the two Scrap Saturdays. John C Gillespie the co-ordinator on this project led his team really well and he had so much help. The public as usual were really supportive. The response was outstanding. Thanks to Shaun Ward and Anne at Better signs and Tony Sharkey Waste who helped out with advertising, etc. Go raibh maith agaibh.
Peil na mBan held their annual awards for u/age girls in the clubhouse on Friday 2nd Dec. Top awards on the night went to the u16 girls who won the u16A championship, as well a receiving their county medals all players on the panel were presented with training tops for their achievements. Yearly awards were U14; Most improved players; Katie O’Donnell & Sarah Doherty. Players of the Year; Sarah O’Gara & Aoife McGarvey. U16 Awards; Most improved player; Lauren Rodgers. Players of the year; Caroline Sharkey & Jade O’Donnell. Player of the county final award; Aine Hanlon. Tops were presented to the Junior ladies who reached the Junior league Final .Thanks goes to, Robbie O’Donnell, Conal O’Gara for preparing the u/age teams. Donal Sharkey for the Junior team and Brid Doherty Chairperson, Elaine Boyle Secretary and the small Committee who ensured these team wanted for nothing all year.
Peil na mBan fundraiser – walk and cross country run on Boxing day 26th Dec. Starts 1pm @ the clubhouse going to The Ballymanus Monument @ Ballymanus. Walkers will take the road route and runners will take a specially designed Cross Country route. Entry will be taken @ Clubhouse from 12 onwards. Adults €5, Family rate €10.
There is still a number of Windbreakers available in small adult, medium and large – might be a good xmas present – contact Donal O’Searcaigh.
