SNOW could be on the way to Donegal later this week, the BBC reported last night.
The TV channel forecast said there could be a snowfall tomorrow or Wednesday depending on the wind direction.
However they said the couldn’t say for certain at this stage.
Meanwhile Met Eireann has issued a new weather warning this morning – a Gale Warning
Southwest to south winds will increase to gale force early today on coasts from Valentia to Erris Head to Malin Head, and will extend to remaining coasts and the Irish Sea by this afternoon.
Forecasters are also warning that there will be storms throughout this week and that temperatures are set to drop – with snow forecasts for next week.
However at this stage it’s still too early to say how much snow could fall, said Positive Weather Solutions.
