Senior Executive Board AGM
This year’s AGM on Saturday 19th November, was well attended by a broad array of club members. Almost all sections of the club were represented. Tom Clare was ratified as Bord na Og Chairman and more or less the same SEB was returned for 2012. President: Denis Bonner; chairman: Paul McGonigle; vice-chairman: Malachy McCann; secretary: Pauline Grant; assistant secretary: Grainne McCarron; treasurer: Brian Stokes; assistant treasurer: Elaine Coyle; PRO: Paul Clifford; assistant PRO: TBC; youth officer (ASAP): Angela Ryan; coaching officer: Sean Noonan; ladies rep: Susan O’Brien; players rep: TBC; reserve players rep: TBC; hurling rep: Caroline Duffy; registrar: Eamonn McMenamin; assistant registrar: Patricia McMenamin; county board delegates: Chris Walsh; David McConnell; Gary Duffy; Sean Clerkin. As can be seen above there are still some positions available, anyone interested in any positions or helping out in any way should email buncrana.pro@gmail.com.
Chairman Paul McGonigle, thanked the many people who do so much work within the club and summarised the progress of the club for 2011, stating that he will be focusing on promoting hurling within the club for 2012.
One of the main debating points of the AGM was the proposal by the chairman to set-up a sub-committee to investigate the merits of changing the name of the club. The motion was carried on a show of hands amongst club members present.
Another motion was also carried on the length of tenure which any incumbent on the SEB could hold their position for. It was agreed that the maximum length of time which any person could hold any job for was three years (with the exception of the secretary position where 5 years term is available) but it was made clear that after three years that person could take-up a different position on the board.

Presents for Percy
Donegal County Childcare (DCCC) is launching a new appeal to help Donegal children and families this Christmas. The Presents for Percy Appeal is a charity appeal that aims to collect a range of toys for children 0-14 years that will be distributed by local organisations working with families in need of support across County Donegal in time for Christmas.
The Presents for Percy appeal has been initiated by the DCCC team as a practical and proactive way of making a contribution to children and families in need of support this Christmas. DCCC are urging all early childhood services, businesses, parents and children to get behind the appeal to make a real difference to children in your local area. No contribution will be too big or too small.
All toy donations will be distributed by the following organisations across County Donegal: St. Vincent de Paul Society; Parentstop, Carndonagh, Letterkenny and Donegal Town Donegal Womens Domestic Violence Service. Family Resource Centres countywide.
To ensure all donated toys are relevant, DCCC have consulted with a number of agencies and parents of children 0-14 years to compile a Christmas present Wish List. The Presents for Percy Wish List has been placed in the following stores across the county: Foys, Ballybofey; Toymaster, Letterkenny; Proper Price, Donegal Town; Bikes and Toys, Carndonagh.
