McDERMOTT
The death has taken place of Gerard McDermott of Cellbridge, Co Kildare and formerly of Glenties, Co Donegal. Former GAA analyst and late of the Revenue Commissioners. Peacefully, after a long illness bravely and courageously borne at the Beacon Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Elma and much loved father of Trevor. Predeceased by his parents Con and Frances and brothers Con, Vincent and Seamus. Sadly missed by his loving brothers Fr. Pat (Mississippi), Donal and Liam, sister Rosaleen and her husband Eddie, partner Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing at his home tomorrow, Sunday afternoon, from 2pm with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge on Monday evening, arriving at 6pm. Funeral on Tuesday, after 11am Mass, to Donacomper Cemetery.
SHERIDAN
The death has taken place at Aras Uí Dhomhnaill Nursing Home, Milford of James Sheridan, Craig, Rathmullan. Remains reposing at her daughter Martina Sheridan’s residence at Craig, Rathmullan. Funeral Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan tomorrow, Sunday, at 1pm, followed by interment in Rathmullan cemetery. Family flowers only please – Donations, if desired, to the Patients’ Comfort Fund, Aras Uí Dhomhnaill, c/o the Sheridan family.
DOHERTY
The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Josephine Doherty, late of The Cottages, Redcastle. Remains reposing at her home. Funeral from there on Sunday morning at 10 o’clock going to St Columba’s Church, Drung for Mass at 10.30am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
