EMERGENCY ESB crews are tonight trying to re-connect 900 which have been without power since the afternoon in the Ballyshannon and Rossnowlagh areas.
Crews are investigating the black-out which took place on a calm day and isn’t weather related, said a spokesman.
“We hope to reconnect the homes in the next hour or two once we have discovered its cause,” he added.
A resident of Rossnowlagh told donegaldaily via an iPhone: “We were half an hour away from serving the Sunday roast when the electricity went off.
“Dinner has been ruined.”
