There is a massive lull in the counting of votes in the Presidential election across the country after a mistake was uncovered at the Wicklow count centre.
The mistake has led to a delay in the counting of votes in both Donegal south west and north east.
So we here at Donegaldaily.com thought we’d bring you a few of the lighter moments of the Presidential election from Donegal.
And the best is probably the man in Gaoth Dobhair who stuck a picture of Frankenstein on his ballot paper with a big number 1 written beside it.
Or there was also the case of another voter who wrote nothing but expletives all over their ballot paper.
Another wrote love hearts around the names of the candidates but refused to give any of them a vote.
Here at the county centre at the Aura Leisure we are waiting….and waiting….and waiting for the second count!
